PHYS 351 - University Physics II Lecture (3 semester hours) Prerequisites: PHYS 331 and PHYS 332 Corequisite: PHYS 352 Description: This course is the second part of the calculus-based university physics sequence. It develops the physical principles of electricity and magnetism, DC electric circuits, electromagnetic radiation, interference phenomena, quantization, and the quantum theory of the atom. The course makes extensive use of vector calculus. Offered Spring semester, annually.
