CISC 340 - Introduction to Artificial Intelligence (4 semester hours) Prerequisites: CISC 233 and MATH 310 Description: This course introduces intellectual issues and intelligent systems in the computer field. Topics include: Fundamentals of intelligent systems, artificial intelligence (AI), AI search strategies, knowledge representation, privacy rights and civil liberties, intellectual property, digital copyrights and patents, social and ethical issues, intelligent (Internet) agents, intelligent manufacturing systems, and robotics. Offered Spring Semester, annually.
