NURS 330 - Coaching in Nursing Practice

(3 semester hours)
Prerequisites: Minimum of 60 earned semester hours and BS Nursing student
Description: This course introduces the scope and competencies of nurse coaching and the integrative, integral and holistic approach of using science and art in nurse coaching. This course covers the core values, Standards of Practice and Standards of Professional Performance for the role, scope of practice and competencies of a nurse coach as defined by the American Nurses Association. This course also explores the societal, cultural, environmental, personal, and community impacts through nurse coaching.
