Information Systems Engineering and Management, D.Eng. Requirements
The following comprises the requirements for the D.Eng. in Information Systems Engineering and Management. Requirements include a minimum of 36 semester hours and non-credit program requirements. When applicable, the semester hour value of each course appears in parentheses ( ). Additional information regarding Doctorate programs can befound in the Doctorate Guidebook. Admission Criteria - Project Proposal
During the Admissions process, the student will provide a project proposal evidencing depth of the problem, high impact of the solution and skills for successful completion of the project. Complete the Breadth Course Requirements
In addition, with permission of the Program Lead, the student may complete any Graduate or Doctorate level course to align with research/project topic. Entering with a Baccalaureate Degree

Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) Training
CITI Training includes training modules on human subjects and ethical research. Harrisburg University requires thatall research involving human subjects, including the use of secondary and primary data, be reviewed by theUniversity’s Institutional Review Board (IRB) to ensure protection of the rights of human subjects. Complete the Doctoral Research Seminar:
Research Proposal Defense
The student will be required to have a Doctoral Dissertation Committee established. Institutional Review Board (IRB) Approval
