BIOL 295 - Human Anatomy and Physiology II (4 semester hours) Prerequisites: C or higher in BIOL 294 Description: This course is the second part in a two-part course series discussing the structural (e.g., anatomy) and functional (e.g., physiology) components of the human body. This second part facilitates learning of structures and functions of cells, organs, and systems related to cardiovascular, digestive, endocrine, genitourinary, and breathing processes. This course also provides bases of medical terminology. Laboratories involve anatomical models, dissections of animal models, and physiological experiments. Three hours of lecture, three hours of laboratory per week. Offered Spring semester, annually.
