MEBA 225 - Accounting (3 semester hours) Prerequisites: MEBA 110 Description: The student is introduced to the basic concepts and standards underlying managerial accounting systems. The student learns how to produce income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. The student also learns how these documents describe the state of the firm in terms of revenue recognition, inventory, long-lived assets, present value, and long-term liabilities. The emphasis of this course is for the student to understand the internal operations of a firm and how those operations are reflected in documentation. Offered Fall semester, annually.
