CHEM 317 - Analytical Chemistry Laboratory (1 semester hour) Prerequisites: CHEM 161 -CHEM 162 and MATH 280 Corequisite: CHEM 316 Description: This course is the companion laboratory to Analytical Chemistry lecture. The student will learn how to correctly prepare standard solutions and samples, test samples using a variety of experimental methods, and analyze experimental data to determine concentration of unknown compared to standards. Error analysis, data handling, and quality control will be performed. Offered Fall semester, annually.
